The vineyard at the Iona estate has produced some lovely wines, but none better than this. A great example of Upper Yarra Valley Pinot. Dark, intense fruit character, layers of complexity across the palette, perfectly balanced for its age and improving in the bottle into a beautiful Pinot.
The intense colour, cherry and strawberry nose, fine tannins and lovely long finish are standout features of this wine. The overall balance of fruit, oak, acid and tannin make this wine perfect with duck, terrine, cheese and lighter red meats.
