A wine of great character and richness, but beautifully balanced with both French and American oak treatment. A dark, rich colour, a perfectly balanced nose displaying the richness of French oak, and the sweetness of American oak.
Fine fruit and oak tannins lead to great wine length on the palate and a lovely fruit/oak balance. Drinking very well now paired with kangaroo, roast lamb, beef cheek and heavier pastas. The wine will certainly evolve with further cellaring.
